ADVISOR'S BIOGRAPHIES

*Father Tom Hartman is known for his popular television show, "God Squad," co-hosted by Rabbi Marc Gellman. He has been recognized for his professional and pastoral work by winning four Emmy Awards, a Telly Award, and numerous "Man of the Year" citations, and honorary doctorates.

*David O. Carpenter, M.D. serves asDirector of the Institute for Health and Environment at the University of Albany's School of Public Health. He received his degree from Harvard Medical School, has 220 publications  to his credit. He is host of a 30 minute public health information show called "The Public Radio Health Show", which is carried on more than 170 stations nationwide including the Armed Forces Radio Network and Voice of America.

*The critical acclaim that Jimmy Webb the composer has received during  his more than thirty-five years of success is as remarkable as the accomplishments they honor: Webb is the only artist to ever receive Grammy awards for music, lyrics, and orchestration, he is a member of the National Academy of Popular Music Songwriter’s Hall of Fame, the Nashville Songwriter’s Hall of Fame, and, according to BMI, his “By The Time I Get To Phoenix,” has been the third most performed song in the last fifty years, with “Up, Up and Away” on the same list in the top thirty.  He was inducted onto the Board of Directors for The Songwriters’ Hall of Fame in early 2000, and currently serves on the Board of Governors for ASCAP.

Allan Rosenthal has come on board as the head of our capital formation group.  He has also recruited Jack Morris as well, and he asked Andrew Jarosh to be an advisor on our CDFI review board.  Jim Thomson of the Delaware County Economic Development Agency has been instrumental in helping us to be welcomed into Walton, NY, as our first community, as has Wilma Hannon.

*Agnes Trill Funk, from the moment you meet her, you know she is an amazing woman deterred by nothing. Her hazel eyes twinkle as her smile reels you into speaking with a woman who has always been able to stand strong. Agnes, who has donated $1 million dollars to Msgr. Thomas Hartman's Foundation for Parkinson's Research, is like a rose. As the bud begins to open, each petal is as beautiful as the next. When one hears what wonderful philanthropic acts Agnes Trill Funk and her late husband John have performed, each charitable act is equally remarkable.

*Elizabeth Browde is an award winning executive producer and show creator with more than a decade of experience, most recently serving as Supervising Series Producer for the Discovery Channel's long running hit series "The New Detectives".

Charles and Pam Eggleston are leading advocates for our wounded warriors and families.  They live in Maryland where Charles spent three years in and out of Walter Reed Hospital after being hit by an IED in Iraq.

Kimberly Barreda is an amazing lady who is also a leading member and advocate in the Abilities Community.  She publishes the lifestyle magazine "Chloe"for the Community, does media work, skis, has raced a NASCAR car, and has more fun in her whole life every day than most people have on their vacations.  Kim will be coordinating our Abilities adaptive sports and adventure programs.
